Sage launches free course in ChatGPT literacy - news release - April 25th

Sage and Technology from Sage, a provider of innovative library technology solutions, has launched a free online course to develop users’ proficiency in ChatGPT. The course covers prompt building, ethical artificial intelligence usage, and implementing the CLEAR framework (Concise, Logical, Explicit, Adaptive, and Reflective) in generating relevant and helpful responses and is available via the Sage Campus platform. Sage Campus is also available via the Lean Library plugin.

ProQuest launches new AI research assistant - news release - Feb 29th

To address the prevalence of students using low quality and unreliable AI tools such as general purpose chatbots, ProQuest has collaborated with its community of educators to develop an AI powered research companion for students that is “responsible and reliable”. ProQuest Research Assistant is currently in Beta testing with a series of UK universities and is being tested in the ProQuest resource ProQuest One Literature.

British Library announce new timeline for restoration of services following the 2023 cyberattack - Feb 22nd**

British Library has announced a new timeline for restoration of services following the major cyberattack in Autumn 2023. Crucially this includes restoration of remote access to collections held at the Boston Spa centre for document delivery.
